Few of my special indian jewellery.

Hello my beautiful people, lets talk jewellery today.Every girl has few special items in her vanity,so do i and so i am presenting few of my special Indian ethnic jewellery. There is no women in the history who wont like jewellery and i am no special. But i would call myself a minimalist in this arena. Over the years i have changed and grown a lot regarding my choice in accessorizing. I used to buy and wear a lot of accessories in my early 20's but i dint know styling then [not that i know much now] ,as i grew i am learning and discovering myself and understanding my style. It is a process and it does take a hell lot of time but for few its a second nature and am not so lucky.

Jewellery has lot of stories to tell as well, probably i might share few of mine here. So these pieces i wear at Indian festivals or marriages or parties.I do not have tons but a few will do for me. I do take good care of all my jewellery as i am well attached to them,i store them in my marble jewellery cases which i adore. So here are few of them

Black metal jhumkas.

So this is the oldest of them all. These black metal jhumkas i bought it when i was probably in class 8th.Almost 12 years and counting.I remember i went for shopping with my aunt and there in a small local shop i found these and fell in love instantly. They go with any indian chudidaar or salwar suit. I still have them and they look so new always.

This is another pair of black metal jewellery which i proudly own. These are gifted to me by my brother and so will always hold a special place in my heart. They are so sublte and beautiful and they have little pearls on the jhumkas which adds that extra glitz. Omg i just love these.

These two pairs of beautiful jhumkas are again one of my favorites. I bought these in 2015 at a jewellery expo which i went along my mother in law. Whenever i wear these ,invariably everyone compliments me and asks from where did i buy these.!

O yes.! This is extremely special piece. This was given to me by my husband when we first met.[Well we fell in love and then met] Will tell my love story some other time but i did not expect this. But i love this piece to death.

Talking of gifts this pair of big hoops is given to me by my brother the day before i was leaving India and coming to USA. I have worn this pair only once and i keep waiting for an opportunity to wear them, probably very soon.

Ending this blog with these three lovely pairs of ear rings. Story behind these is,they were gifted to me by my beautiful mom. I love her taste, its absolutely awesome. As you can see i have quite a few jhumkaas and why not.? They all are so different and so unique.

So that is all for today, hope you all liked my little collection.Lots of love,

XOXO,

Shruti.
