Hello my beautiful people,i hope everyone is doing good.So its June already,and this is my favorite month of the year as my birthday falls in this month. I am born on 11th of June just for all your information.This birthday is very special and close to my heart as i was in for a huge surprise.It was around March this year that my husband Sudhama told me that in June we might be visiting California for his work purpose and whenever he gets time we can roam around California.I was in for any kind of travel as i am mostly at home studying ,and so i was looking forward to that trip. But Sudhama had some other plans in store for me. He planned a trip to Disneyland and Universal studios at Orlando,Florida. My parents,my in laws everyone knew but none of them spilled the beans. It was at airport Sudhama told me we are not going to California but going to Orlando. My happiness knew no bounds and i was kind of shocked.Now here's a little backstory,since childhood,if there was one place that i always wanted to visit,it was Disneyland,i always had this beautiful image of the Cinderella castle which is present at the Disneyland.So this meant a hell lot to me.Its now almost two and half years since we are married,but all this little things matter a lot in a relationship.Its not important to spend tons of money but doing something thoughtful matters. I know he cares for me,but he kept it a secret and planned the entire trip so perfectly ,it is a lot to ask for,and i feel so blessed to have a partner who makes me feel so special always. Cinderella Castle - Magic kingdom - disneyland
We went for a whole one week vacation,3 days at Universal studios and 3 days at Disneyland.Now going to this places is whole lot of work and i mean literal hardwork and planning. As they fall in the category of amusement parks, they are spread on such a huge land that we need to walk ,walk and more walk. On 10th morning we left Boston and our flight was at morning 7.00AM, we reached Orlando by 11.00 AM ,rented a car at the airport and drove to Universal that day itself. On 10th,11th,12th ,we roamed around Universal Studios which also has Volcano bay and 13th,14th,15th we went to Disneyland , Disneyland has many parts to it,we went to Animal kingdom,Hollywood studios and Magic kingdom of those different parts.Rest we couldn't finish. On 16th we went around Orlando,to an outlet mall and a spa .With that we completed our vacation,Next day on 17th morning at 8.00 AM we took a flight back to Boston .

This is the picture at Horror make up show .Its a 20 minute skit ,where they kind of show us how a Hollywood horror movie make up is done with a little bit of drama . It was entertaining and we enjoyed it.
This is the first day of our vacation,and we look so tired as we went to Universal studios directly from airport.
So if you can see,there is Jimmy Fallon logo in this picture.Yes there is this 3D ride called ride through New York city at Universal studios,it is one of my favorite rides and we did it like 4 times.It was so amazing,i recommend everyone to do it if you ever visit Universal studios.
This is the picture of Transformers.There is this 3D ride of transformers ,which is Sudhama's favorite at Universal studios,There is a huge waitline for this ride too,but if you go as a single rider,waitline is not as bad. This is also a must do ride.We did this 3 times.
Despicable me-At first we thought despicable me is a big scary roller coaster ride but eventually we found out that its a 3D ride and when we first did it,i fell in love with it,this too has a huge waitline .There is an option of taking fastpass,so if we book this as a fast pass,waitline is simple.
So the first day at Universal we did :
1) Shrek - 3D ride which is must do,good ride.
2) Jimmy Fallon- Ride through New York City- My favorite ride,great one,must do.
3)Horror Make up show - Its good,entertaining.
4)Harry potter and the escape from the gringotts - This is a place of Harry potter lovers,in there we have wand shop,candy shops and everything related to Harry Potter and there is even a ride,but we did not do that ride as it had lot of big drops and i kind of got scared.I will insert few pictures here of Harry Potter world. There is train ride,called Hogwarts Express,which we did,its a fun ride.
5) Hogsmeade
There are lot of Harry potter Merchandise shops too.I even found Dobby there.

On 11th of June ie on my birthday we did :
1) Jimmy Fallon - ( 3D )Ride through New York City twice
2)Transformers 3D ride twice
3) Spiderman 3D ride - This was ok,nothing great.Not a must do.
4)Jurassic Park roller coaster - This has a huge drop,i almost got me a heart attack.This is definitely not for weak hearts but extremely thrilling experience.
5) Poseidon -This is a show with lot of water effects and light effects ,it was ok,little boring.
6) Skull island - Now the entry for this was too good,but the ride was ok,there is lot of spinning in this ride.
7) Finally i sat on the kids horse carousel ,i don't know what its called but i loved it.
0n 12th of June we went to Volcano Bay- This is a water park with water rides.I being a non swimmer was a bit scared but i put all my fears aside and just went for it.We did :
1) Cabana Bay - Its actually a huge pool which has water falls on it,the dept keeps increasing and there are waves coming as well,i did not go to the end of the depth but i was hanging somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed it,it was one of the firsts for me.
2)Kapi pool - This was one of my favorites. We are given floaties and we must sit on it and they move in the water,its a huge pool which is kind of round so we can do it as much as we want,we almost did 3 rounds,i had hell lot of fun doing this.This is a must do.
3) I dont remember the name of this water ride but its simply thrilling.All the water rides are must do.
After finishing everything at Volcano Bay,we went back to Universal again as it was our last day at Universal and we did the following rides :
1) Transformers (Once) 2) Jimmy Fallon (Once) 3) Despicable me (2 times) 4) Men in black - This was an ok ride.
And with all this we were done with Universal Studios.
Then on 13th June we started our journey at Disneyland
First we visited Animal Kingdom.At animal Kingdom we did :
1) At Discovery island - its tough to be a bug- This is a 3D show,its a fun show,kids will love it.Must do for kids.
Tree of life - There is a huge setting of a tree with beautiful animal carvings on it and every night with the help of projector,a small play is shown on the tree,it is simply beautiful,i have never seen something like this,so brilliant.A must watch.
2) Pandora - Avatar flight of passage - Now this is out of the world 3D ride,to get into this ride the wait line is almost 2 hours,while we were waiting in the never ending line for avatar ride ,i thought to myself was i being stupid to do this,my legs ached like never before and i was exhausted,i saw people of all all ages waiting and with the same expression as mine ,it better be good ,my head said. And finally the moment arrived when we actually sat on our seats ,it was only of about 6 minute,but what i went through in those 6 minute was exhilarating. What the hell was that? is what both of us said to each other.! We were in utter disbelief of what we did,and experienced.We forgot our leg pain and whatsoever. This ride was another level. It took us to another world all together.Its basically a 3D ride but the brain behind this ride deserves huge admiration and accolades. Its a must must must must do.Period.
3)Africa - Festival of lion king - This is a show of 20 minutes,done beautifully by amazing artists,its a must watch.
Kilimanjaro safari - This safari ride into the forest was great,it has all exotic animals.We saw elephants, Cheetah, Wild beasts,Antelope , Giraffe , Ostrich , Rhinoceros , Hippopotamus , Flamingos Etc. Its a must do.
Gorilla exploration falls - This falls has gorillas, and other animals like snakes etc. It was fun to explore this one.
Rafiki Planet watch - This is a train ride to rafiki planet which has some exotic species. It is an ok ride.
4) Asia - Maharaja Jungle trek - Here we saw Bengal tiger . Must explore this one.
Kali river rapids - This is one of my favorite rides at animal kingdom. Its a water ride on rapids. Too much fun.Must do.
5)Dinoland USA - Here we did some roller coaster rides like Primeval whirl, Tricera topspin and dinosaur . These were fun rides with fun experiences. Must do.

On 14th June we visited Hollywood studios and Magic Kingdom of Disneyland.
At hollywood studios we did :
1)The great movie ride - it was ok.
2)Star tours - this was ok too.
3)Muppet vision - This was boring.Most boring show overall.
4)Voyage of the mermaid - This is a stage show,it was good.
Overall,we did not enjoy Hollywood studios much.It is mainly for kids.
In the evening we went to Magic kingdom and there we actually saw magic.We saw the fireworks over the Cinderella Castle ,this was one of my favorites.A must watch.Everyone who visits Magic kingdom should watch this.Then after the fireworks ,there is a show on the Cinderella Castle by projector,its really mesmerizing,a must watch as well. I got a bit emotional watching the fireworks as i always wanted to see it and there i was seeing it,it was a beautiful birthday gift and all this memories will always stay in my heart for eternity,holding Sudhama's hands,watching the skies ,it was surreal. My favorite moments of life.
On 15th june,our last day at Disneyland we first went to Animal kingdom and then to Magic kingdom. At animal kingdom,we went to Avatar -The flight of passage again as we were not over it.This time we did it two times, ie we waited 2 hours twice for 6 minutes ride,totally for 4 hours,but it was all worth it. This time around we went prepared by fully charging our phones,took our earplugs as well with us.As there is free wifi there ,with our smartphones we entertained ourselves for 4 hours which went past very easily.As we finished Avatar,we immediately left to magic kingdom , where we did Pirates of Caribbean ride,this was ok.Then we did Aladdin and Magic carpet ride ,this was a fun ride,later we did Jungle cruise ,this was a boring water ride, for kids.And we ended off our adventure by watching fireworks and Castle story .It was a perfect ending just like the title of the story that was projected on the castle.

On our last day at Disneyland ,there was a double rainbow.I never came across two rainbows,it was so magical.

And about what i wore this vacation,i took few snaps of mine in various outfits,forgot to take snaps on two other days.Here you can see four outfits. As we went during summer time,i packed few shorts and short dresses.Not much styling or whatsoever as this was an adventure vacation and Orlando is a hot place,it was extremely sultry so less is more.
Finally ending this blog with our picture.We did not take tons of together pictures as both of us believe in enjoying the moments and saving the memories in our hearts (also we forget to click our pictures as we are so lost in seeing and grasping everything else). But nevertheless,we did take couple of selfies and am posting one in here.
My dear Sudhama,thank you for such a wonderful and special birthday.It means a world to me,i was overwhelmed with joy when you surprised me. You are the best husband one can ask for and i am truly blessed to be yours.
